The Placa-Stradum, or Main Street Old Town Dubrovnik. After the great earthquake of 1661, much of the destroyed city was rebuilt using the same white stone and the streets were paved in white marble. After 360 years of constant pedestrian use, the white marble has been polished to a shine. A little slippery in sandals as well!
