The morning had given me another opportunity to see a town's morning rituals while most tourists slept: women fill their small two-wheeled carts with fresh bread, eggs, and other food gathered from the small stores they visit. In this photo, local women buy tuna straight from the boat. While the captain deals with the transactions, the first mate weighs fish on a small scale. Mark and Ania decided to stay in Hvar for a few more days, which brought our travels together to an end. They told me they have been travelling too quickly and needed a place to take a break and Hvar seemed as good a place as any. They are great people and it was a pleasure to be able to travel with them. We had been through a lot for only two days of traveling together.
