Info about Kolby Kirk
Kolby Kirk, traveler

On the bus ride over from Dubrovnik, I met Jack and Pierre. These world travellers & wandering spirits from Mexico City have been traveling for months through Africa, the Middle East (including Jerusalem) and Eastern Europe. As with most whom have been traveling for a while, it takes a lot to surprise them. All old churches, walled towns, and ruins begin to look the same - none of them whispering the call for excitement as they once did early on in the journey. But things were different in the Bay of Kotor. When I met Jack and Pierre at the bus station in Dubrovnik, they said that they heard very little about the country of Montenegro but wanted to spend a few days checking it out.
I will never forget the look in their faces when we came into the Bay of Kotor. The mountains jutting out of the sparkling water, the small cottages tucked into the wrinkles of the hillsides, the towns dotting the shorline... I could almost see their spirits being rekindled.
By the time the bus rolled into Kotor, all of our spirits were energized. We ate like kings and celebrated our arrival at a small resturaunt within the old walls of the city.
