On day two in Kotor, I convinced Jack and Pierre to join me yet again for another adventure: a hike up the 1,350+ stairs to the ruins above the town... in the rain. It wasn't exactly the same as swimming with sharks, but it was dangerous nonetheless. The steps to the top are loose and sometimes missing altogether, but we took it slow. We took a break at the Chapel of Our Lady of Salvation (Gospe od Zdravlja) when the rain started falling harder. While waiting for a break in the storm, we were joined by others who wanted to get out of the rain. At first they were a bit uncomfortable being so close to strangers (Jack and Pierre were equally as uncomfortable, having never been so close to goats before) but before long we were all friends. We took over 75 photos of these wide-eyed goats before the weather lightened up (slightly) and we moved onward and upward.
