The paths on the lakes get you as close as possible to the nature. I was glad I invested in a pair of REI Leather Gore-Tex Hiking Boots. Although this trail was dry, others were being swallowed by the ever-changing waterways. I walked a quiet path around Kozjak Lake for about a mile until the path dissappeared underwater! Having come too far to turn around, I continued by scrambling over muddy/submerged animal paths for an hour. And through all of that, my socks were still dry when I took them off in my room that night!
