In the ruins of The Fortress of St. John, the view from the 1,200 feet elevation made me so thunderstruck, I had lost all fear of heights. The one-dimentional photo does not capture very well the almost sheer drop down to the old city below.

To get this shot, I set up my camera on a timer and carefully jumped over the old wall onto a rock outcropping. One false move and I think that my camera would have captured my last mistake!
