*Cuzco, Peru
December 05, 2004:
A Quechuan woman tries to sell me a camera strap she made from alpaca wool. She most likely lives in the countryside and comes into Cuzco with her children to help earn some Peruvian Soles from the tourists. While she sits here at a popular tourist site spinning wool and knitting everything from sock puppets to sweaters, her daughters bring their alpaca around looking for tourists who have a camera dangling from their neck, trying to charge them for any snaps of the shutter.
