I arrived in Bratislava at 11:30p at night without any clue on where I was going to stay. Luckily, I ran into a fellow American who was living there teaching English and he invited me to stay in his small apartment and sleep on the couch. Bratislava was my first real glimpse of "Eastern European" life. It was a great city.
