"There's this saying: in an all-blue world, colour doesn't exist. It makes a lot of sense to me. If something seems strange, you question it; but if the outside world is too distant to use as a comparison, then nothing seems strange."

C o n t e n t s
:
B u c h a r e s t
I had become so customed to living in Iasi that, while on the train to Bucharest,
I wanted to believe that this was just going to be a day trip. But alas, it wasn't.
It was time for me to continue on my way. To continue my pilgrimage to Bucharest and then
on to Ploiesti. Fortunately, I had some company
for Marius, my Romanian friend, accompanied me.
We spent about 8 hours in Bucharest, meandering through the busy streets flanked by stylish buildings.
I could see why Bucharest was once known as "Little Paris" - its buildings and people were very similar
to those in Paris.
Marius brought along his laptop computer and digital camera so I was able to splurge on my photography.
I usually took about 5-10 pictures in most cities I visited - but in Bucharest I took upwards of 50!
I put the images on two pages. Follow the links below to see them.
