» One Blog To Rule Them All
  February 16th, 2008

For those of you who are new to my site, feel free to browse around and check out kahunna.net. For those of you who frequent this site, you'll find what's new here over at The Journal - my one and only blog (as of now) over at kolbykirk.com. In other words, I'll still be updating kahunna.net with new material, but I'll only be mentioning the updates over at kk.com. Got it? Good!

» Morocco 2007
  February 15th, 2008

I'm terrible at keeping this blog going. If you didn't know me and your only contact with my life was this site, then it might appear that I've been sitting on my butt for the last five months. That's not the case! I went to Morocco for two weeks in December and had an awesome time. I've posted photos here. I brought along a video camera as well and have posted a few videos on YouTube. My Canon 30d died last month, but I just got the Canon 40d so I've been shooting up the town with it any chance I get. See some of the better shots over on flickr.

» Kolby Kirk is a web designer, photographer, writer, and traveler: four things he is most passionate about. He discovered the wonderful world of travel at an early age thanks to his parents and the piles of National Geographic magazines that he had collected. Travel for him has been a way to escape the trappings of a stressful job and a busy city as well as become closer to other cultures.

He is currently planning his next adventure: June in Nova Scotia.

Since he was a kid, he has dreamed of traveling through foreign lands. He fed his dream by hiking, backpacking and camping as much as possible near his Southern California home until he found a moment where he had both the time and money to travel to Europe.

The reality of my adventure was more than he could possibly dream of!

This site is made to not only highlight his travels both near and far, but also to help you in your planning for a similar adventure. Throughout the site, you will find links to places on the Web that he found useful. Good luck, happy travels to you, and feel free to e-mail Kolby if you have any questions.
