Hi everyone,
Just 21 days to go before I'm off to Europe! I've got everything marked off my checklist (well, just about everything) and I've "broken in" my vagabond gear: tent, backpack, sleeping bag, etc.
Even though my mind is in Europe most of the time, my experiences up here at Camp Arbolado are wonderful. When I am not working by teaching kids about archaeology and astronomy, I'm hiking through the San Gorgonio Wilderness. Each hike is, on average, 16 miles long. Sometimes in a group, but most of the time solo. (ask my Mom about my encounter with a bear - she loves to tell it).
