Fri Nov 16, 2001 | day 67
I had a great time in Romania. On the 17 hour train ride from Bucarest to my
current position on the globe (Vienna, Austria), I thought about what I have
seen so far on my long and exciting journey. It is hard to fathom the
beginning being so long ago. Just as equally uncomprehendable is the fact I
might be writing the next email to all of you from Pasadena, California in just
72 hours.
With that said, you will have to wait to hear some of what happened in the last
few days in Romania. In a nutshell, I went to Bucharest for a day-trip, as
well as Vlad Tepes' Castle, the castle for the real Dracula.
Someone said that a picture says a thousand words. If that's true, than here are 14,000 'words' to look over (click here). They are of Poienari Castle, Dracula's Castle. It took us an hour and 1,425 stairs to get to the top, but it was well worth it!
*SEE* you soon!
