Kotor is paradise on Earth! Most of the pictures below are of my day
excursion up to the 900-year old ruins of The Fortress of St. John.
The view from the 1,200 feet elevation made me so thunderstruck, I
had lost all fear of heights. The one-dimentional photos do not
capture very well the almost sheer drop down to the old city below.
It was in Kotor that I had discovered a lot about myself. As if I had finally been given my "user's manual." My peace-of-mind had opened doors in my mind that I did not know existed. A great man said that sometimes you need to travel to unknown lands to discover your true Self. Kotor was my "unknown land."
