After visiting Poienari Castle, we continued north into the mountains to the Vidraru ("beaver") Dam on the Vidraru Lake. The view of the Fagaras Mountains in the distance were absolutely breathtaking. Watching a thin layer of clouds envelop the mountains like a blanket was natural beauty at it's best. If it wasn't so darn cold, I could have spent all day looking at the view... but the voice of Travel beaconed for me to continue once again. By the next morning, I would be in Vienna, Austria.
